3. Facial Image Processing & Absolute Privacy

Miravo performs image analysis to generate appearance-related insights. We guarantee that no image ever leaves your device.

Because processing occurs 100% locally on your own hardware, there is absolutely no transmission of your personal photos to our servers. This architecture completely eliminates the risk of your images being intercepted, stored, or misused by us or any third party.

The results generated by Miravo are intended for informational and educational purposes only and should not be considered medical advice or a medical diagnosis.

4. Product Overview & Data Processing

Miravo Product Overview

Miravo is a facial analysis and personal appearance/self-improvement platform. Users provide account information and facial images to receive facial measurements, analysis, recommendations, progress tracking, and personalized improvement plans.

Facial Analysis

When the user submits an image, the MediaPipe-based model identifies a dense set of facial landmarks (478 landmarks) across areas such as the eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, cheeks, jawline, and overall facial contour. These 478 facial landmarks provide precise coordinate points that Miravo uses to calculate geometric measurements and relationships between different facial features. From these measurements, Miravo can evaluate characteristics such as facial symmetry, facial proportions, eye alignment, canthal tilt, facial width-to-height relationships, cheek-to-jaw taper, and other structural metrics used in the report. The MediaPipe model itself does not determine a user’s attractiveness or assign aesthetic conclusions. Instead, it provides the underlying facial landmark data. Miravo’s analysis system uses those landmark coordinates and mathematically derived ratios to generate the measurements, scores, and visualizations presented in the user’s facial analysis report. Miravo evaluates visible skin characteristics directly in the browser using facial landmarks and pixel-level image processing. Facial landmarks identify relevant skin regions while excluding features such as the eyes, lips, eyebrows, and hair. Within these regions, Miravo processes pixel data using colour spaces such as RGB, HSV, and CIELAB to measure colour distribution, brightness, saturation, redness-related variation, and surface consistency. Local pixel and contrast differences are used to estimate texture and identify visually distinct areas. These measurements are combined into the skin-related scores shown in the report.that . Miravo stores derived facial metrics and analysis results used to generate reports and track progress. These metrics include, where supported by the system:

Miravo's reports may describe certain metric results in terms of characteristics such as facial balance, definition, harmony, health-related appearance, and aesthetic presentation. These scores are appearance assessments generated by Miravo's analysis system and are not medical diagnoses or guarantees of attractiveness.

Where local facial analysis is used, the facial image is processed on the user's device and is not uploaded to Miravo's servers for that analysis. Miravo stores the resulting metrics and derived analysis data rather than the original image for the local analysis process.

Personalized Task System

Miravo has a library of more than 100 self-improvement tasks covering grooming, skincare, lifestyle, nutrition, exercise, posture, hair and beard styling, and other appearance-related habits.

Users are not assigned the entire task library. Miravo selects and prioritizes relevant tasks based on the user's measurements, goals, preferences, progress, and other available data to create an individualized routine.

Miravo Coach

Miravo Coach is a locally running rule-based personalization system. It uses the user's current measurements, previous measurements, task completion, adherence, goals, and preferences to determine how the user's plan should change.

The Coach compares progress over time and determines which tasks should be continued, removed, added, or adjusted. The core coaching logic runs locally in the user's browser and does not require sending the user's facial data to an external AI model.

Data Processing

Miravo processes the following categories of data:

• Account and authentication information, including email address and account identifiers.
• User preferences, goals, and settings.
• Facial analysis results and derived measurements.
• Facial metric scores and report results.
• Progress history, completed tasks, streaks, scores, and activity.
• Technical information, including IP address, browser/device information, and analytics data.
• Facial images submitted by users for analysis, which are processed locally where local analysis is used.

Facial images and derived facial measurements are treated as separate forms of data. The original facial image remains on the user's device during local processing, while the resulting measurements and analysis data are used to provide Miravo's reports, recommendations, progress tracking, and Coach functionality.

Miravo's facial metrics are analytical and aesthetic measurements derived from facial images. They are used to assess measurable aspects of facial structure, proportions, symmetry, skin appearance, and related visual characteristics. They do not constitute medical, psychological, or dermatological diagnoses.
